Bad News: We found another mouse in our house
Good News: It was dead in the trap when we discovered it
Bad News: We think it might have been there for a day or two
Good News: It was in one of those fancy new traps we never thought would catch anything
Bad News: That trap cost about 5 times as much as a normal wooden trap
Good News: We were happy to throw it away
Bad News: Still waiting for a baby
Good News: Doctor said yesterday he thought it would be less than a week
Bad News: Doctor also said that 8 days ago
Good News: Will be induced next week if we still haven’t had the baby
Bad News: That will mean his birthday will sometimes be on Thanksgiving
Good News: It will all work out

Hopefully that was the very last mouse you’ll ever have in your house! Maybe your baby was waiting to be born until he knew the coast would be completely clear. Being induced worked out for us, 5 days past the due date. But I have to admit that it’s hard to suppress a little jealousy when I hear of so many mothers having their babies well before the expected due date. Your son will be born on the right day!!
