dorkydinos
A collection of 10,000 collectible NFTs inspired by a team member's daughter, built to showcase familial love alongside the team's combined experience across gaming, e-commerce, design, and startups. Beyond the art, dorkydinos was created to introduce a younger generation to blockchain technology and the creative and cultural value NFTs can hold — with hopes of contributing something positive to the community and future generations. DorkyDinos was started as a passion project by a group of 3 people.
What did I build
As developer, I built and deployed the ERC-721 smart contract on Ethereum and launched the collection on OpenSea, alongside building the project website with React/Next.js. Working alongside a business development lead and a marketing lead managing social and Discord, we brought dorkydinos from concept to a live, mintable collection with a public roadmap covering token launch, merchandise, and community initiatives.
